Respect, Excellence, Compassion & Lifelong Learning

Parents & Friends Association

The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is Eltham Primary’s connection to parents, carers and friends of the school as well as the wider community. The primary role of the (PFA) is to:

Work in partnership with the school to promote strong links between the school and its community of parents, carers and friends.

Provide information to families about the school and its community activities and where possible, extend assistance to foster good relations among the school’s community.

Initiate and organize fund raising events which aim to bring the school community closer together while raising extra revenue for the school to finance additional learning facilities to benefit all students.

There are no formal membership requirements and all parents, carers and friends are welcome to join the PFA either as active members or simply to interact with other parents and become more involved with the school.

The PFA also coordinates class representatives on a rotating basis each school term.  The role of the class rep is to organize class contact lists and social events which encourages friendships between families of children in the same year level.

The PFA can be contacted by telephoning the school direct on 03 9439 9374
