Medical Exclusions

During the first year at school, childhood infections are common. Infections spread quickly at school.

If your child is sick or has been experiencing vomiting/diarrhoea 24 hours prior to school, he/she should be kept at home. Your child must be kept home if he/she is suffering from one of the infectious diseases identified by the Education Department.
