Parents Networks & Volunteering
At Eltham Primary School we foster a sense of community for both students and families. There are many avenues for families to build their connection to the school, such as becoming involved with community groups or volunteering. Parents can join School Council, or contribute to one of the Sub-committees, including:
- Education and Policy
- Community Relations
- Communications
- Finance
- Facilities, Environment & OHS
For parents who would like to contribute directly to the education of students at our school, we have a classroom volunteering program. We also have an active parent gardening group, whose responsibilities include maintaining our beautiful grounds, organising and participating in working bees, implementing our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program and working with students at lunchtimes on specific gardening projects.
