Explore, Experiment, and Learn
In Art, all students explore, experiment, and learn to use a wide range of media, materials and equipment. Under the guidance of a Specialist Art teacher, they undertake drawing, painting, construction, collage, printing, modelling, and textile activities at all levels. Within these areas, students build their knowledge of skills, techniques, and processes as well as an understanding of art and artists in the wider world. Students come to Art sessions with a range of abilities and knowledge, and these are catered for in a caring, stimulating environment. We showcase student artwork in a biannual Art Show and regularly throughout the school.
